I have been at Sullivan Montessori for 19 years. I love my job because watching the children learn and grow makes me understand how important the teacher-child relationship is. I have attended Montessori training in St. Louis, Chicago, and Kansas City. I also complete continuing education every year and am CPR certified. After school I love to read, shop, and help out on our farm.
Mrs. Thomeczek is an experienced Montessori teacher who enjoys working in her Toddler 1 classroom. Her positive energy and great communication skills add to her well thought out Toddler Community.
Mrs. Piofcyk has taken care of our youngest children for many years and has recently transitioned into the Preschool Community. She has a wonderful rapport with all students and loves to sit and listen to the many stories and facts that they have to share.
I have worked with children at Sullivan Montessori for 6 years. I have my Childcare Development Associate Certificate and I am also currently taking additional training in the Montessori method of education. After school I love to help with cattle on the farm and go hiking.
I have worked with children for three years. My favorite things about my job is the impact I make daily on each child and I love to watch them grow. I am a certified EMT and have training in CPR, hazmat, and auto extrication. I complete yearly continuing education in childcare. My favorite children’s book is Horton Hears a Who by Dr. Seuss. After school I enjoy hiking, spending time with my siblings and dog, traveling, drawing, and studying for EMT courses.
I’ve worked with children for 4 years and have worked at Montessori for 2. I am CPR certified and graduated with an associates degree in teaching. My favorite thing about working at Montessori is all the hugs, smiles, and laughs I get everyday from the kids. My favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. After school, I like to spend time with my pigs, play volleyball, and see friends and family.
